Review - Marvel Legends 2-Pack: Valkyrie and Hulk

Product: Marvel Legends 2-Pack - Valkyrie and Hulk
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Price Paid: CAD$17.47

Marvel Legends are hard to find in Canada.  The only places that carry them are select comic book stores, specialty toy stores, and Toys R Us.  Moreover, not all the releases are available in Canada, as Hasbro selectively chooses which waves to bring north of the border.  Lastly, if your lucky to find them, they tend to be expensive.

Well, Hasbro and Toys R Us had a nice surprise for Canadians during October 29 - November 4.  They released three new Marvel Legends 2-Packs (Valkyrie/Hulk, Deadpool/Warpath, Black Widow/Winter Soldier) at 30% off.  That's right!  I was in Toys R Us and there they sat on the shelf for CAD$17.47 a pack.  Of course all three 2-Packs were purchased ;).

These are the first Marvel Legends' action figures I've bought.  So let's proceed onto the review of the Marvel Legends 2-Pack - Valkyrie and Hulk.

Photo - Playmates 6" Terminator: Salvation T-700

This Playmates 6" Terminator: Salvation T-700 action figure was found in the clearance aisle.  It's fairly common and shouldn't cost more than CAD$5.  Most reviews give it a lackluster score, but they do note it's one neat feature, the light pipe eyes.  Shine a light on the top of the head and the eyes light up.

Comment - The Problem with Cobra Troopers

Some of the new G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra figures are paying homage to the the classic Predator film. Recondo looks a lot like Blaine, Spirit looks a lot like Billy, and the upcoming Shadow Tracker looks a lot like a Predator.

I couldn't help but wonder how the Cobra Troopers felt.
